Our Story
A Home Should Nurture the Soul
Welcome to Cotswold Bloomhouse.
Cotswold Bloomhouse was created from a simple belief: that the spaces we live in have the power to shape the way we feel.
For over two decades, my professional life has been dedicated to caring for others. As an Advanced Nurse, I have worked across a wide range of healthcare settings, supporting people through some of life’s most challenging moments. It has been a career built on compassion, listening, understanding and helping people find comfort during difficult times.
Those experiences have taught me something that extends far beyond healthcare.
Wellbeing is not found only in medicine.
It is found in the way sunlight falls through a window on a quiet morning.
It is found in the comfort of a favourite chair.
It is found in the colours that surround us, the memories that fill our homes, the changing seasons, birdsong on an early walk, and the peace we feel when we stop long enough to notice the beauty of nature.
That understanding became the foundation of Cotswold Bloomhouse.
Between 2022 and 2026, I quietly developed every collection, allowing each one to evolve naturally through countless walks, photographs and moments spent exploring Britain’s extraordinary landscapes.
Nothing begins with a trend.
Nothing begins with a computer.
Everything begins with a real experience.
A woodland path covered in bluebells.
A field of wild poppies dancing in the summer breeze.
The first snowdrops pushing through winter frost.
An ancient oak tree standing proudly across generations.
A quiet village built from warm honey-coloured stone.
Every design starts with somewhere I have walked, somewhere I have paused, somewhere that has made me feel something.
Many collections begin with photographs I have taken myself while walking my dogs or exploring the countryside. Others are inspired by wildflowers discovered beside country lanes, peaceful rivers, woodland clearings or changing skies after summer rain.
These moments become sketches, ideas, colours and stories before finally becoming part of a collection.
Every design carries a memory.
Every collection carries a feeling.
My hope has never been simply to create beautiful products.
My hope is to share the feeling I experience when I am immersed in Britain’s beautiful landscapes.
That moment when the world becomes quiet.
When your breathing slows.
When your shoulders relax.
When you remember that beauty still exists in the simplest things.
Whether it is a piece of artwork, a journal, a cushion, bedding or one of the Bloomhouse Tales, I want every creation to become a gentle reminder to pause, breathe deeply and create a home that feels peaceful, welcoming and full of warmth.
The Cotswolds will always hold a special place in my heart, but Britain is blessed with extraordinary beauty—from rolling hills and ancient forests to dramatic coastlines, rivers, gardens and meadows. Cotswold Bloomhouse celebrates that shared heritage, drawing inspiration from the landscapes that have inspired generations before us.
This is not simply a collection of home décor.
It is a celebration of nature.
A celebration of the changing seasons.
A celebration of British craftsmanship, beauty and tradition.
Most of all, it is a reflection of my heart.
If something I create helps someone feel calmer after a busy day, encourages them to notice the beauty outside their window, or simply makes their home feel more peaceful and welcoming, then Cotswold Bloomhouse has fulfilled its purpose.
